What You'll Do (Your Core Responsibilities)
- Exploratory Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Dive deep into our vast and complex datasets to uncover patterns, identify opportunities, and understand the nuances of user behavior.
- Define Data Requirements for ML Models: Act as a bridge between the business problem and the technical solution. You will translate the needs of our ML models into clear, actionable data specifications for our Data Engineering team.
- Specify High-Quality Datasets: Your primary mission is to specify the reliable, high-quality datasets that are essential for training our deep learning models. This includes defining data sources, transformation logic, and quality validation rules. The actual construction of the data pipeline will be handled by Data Engineers based on your specifications.
- Provide Data-Driven Insights for Model Development: Analyze data to provide insights that help the team understand model behavior, diagnose issues, and formulate new hypotheses for AI-driven features.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
- Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a data-focused role such as data analysis or BI.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- A meticulous, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for data quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business questions into analytical plans.
- A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working closely with a machine learning or data science team.
- Solid understanding of fundamental statistical concepts (e.g., distributions, sampling, hypothesis testing).
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau) for data exploration and visualization.
- Experience with Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation.
- Familiarity with data warehouses like BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake.
- Experience in a SaaS or hospitality-related industry.
