Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Manual Tester to join our growing team. As a QA Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through thorough testing, defect identification and communication across teams. Your work will help us deliver exceptional products to our clients and customers.
Although you will be employed by Bookandlink, the local subsidiary, your day-to-day work will be carried out in collaboration with the team at tripla, the parent company.
Please note that the salary range indicated on this page is shown as a gross amount before tax deductions.
Roles and Responsibilities
・Write and execute comprehensive test cases to validate features and functionality.
・Conduct manual testing of features/applications to identify defects and ensure functionality, design, usability, and compatibility.
・Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements, provide feedback on potential issues.
・Document details of reported issues, track issues and test results, and communicate findings to the development team.
・Participate in the design and improvement of testing processes and procedures.
・Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been resolved.
・Participate in regular meetings to provide updates and share insights on the current testing status
Job Requirement
・Effective communication skills in English are required, and the ability to communicate in Japanese would be considered an advantage
・Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
・Approach tasks with a methodical yet flexible mindset
・Being observant and curious, with a proactive approach to identifying potential risks
・Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MySQL, Excel, Postman, and Dev tools would be considered an advantage.
